Kiting - Entropy

“Kiting” is indie-rock band Entropy’s newest single, following their previous releases “boys like to race” and “Kudos to you”.  This single only reinforces my previous compliments to the band, that Entropy is an amazing up and coming group that you can always guarantee will make a great tune.

It starts off heavy, throwing you into the layered vocals straight away and grabbing the listeners attention. I loved the initial sound, immediately captivated in the sound. the drums sound phenomenal, building to the main chunk of the song beautifully.

The chorus comes on fast, a dancey and catchy beat that’s sure to stick in your mind for days after the first listen. like what I said about “Kudos to you”, this tune sounds like a song that would be so great to hear in the depths of a mosh pit. Entropy’s new releases only make me anticipate catching a live show more and more, just to feel how these songs come to life in front of an audience.

The songs fast-paced, keeping you listening attentively which I thought musically was a great choice.

Overall, the song as a whole captures such a unique and great feeling. The shifts from indie to rock throughout entwine together in a refreshing and catchy way, it’s instantly a classic on the band’s part and only further convinces me this band will go very far.
