Parabøla. The next big thing. This secondary school, practice room born band has just announced their new single, a completely original and heavenly track, experimenting through layers of sounds and vocals.

Listeners are drawn into the single with its heavy drums, but are enticed to stay through its strong vocals and lyrical genius. “Caught in a landslide of my thoughts” is a perfect example of lyrics which leave a listener hooked, by the first line of the song. The vocals and delivery are what really builds the foundation of perfection. There's a delicate sincerity within it- close to the mic and raw, as if sung straight from a notebook, watching the sun go up when you haven't had the chance to sleep. The voice leans into both vulnerability and technicality. Every lyric therefore, feels real, lived in.

Be My Love builds atmosphere through restraint and delicacy, reading like a letter never sent. The pacing is just perfect, clocking in at just the right length not overstaying its welcome. The structure is unhurried leaving space for breaths between verses and allowing the listener to feel the lyrics deeply.

With Parabola, nothing feels forced. The band's choice to keep things raw rather than overproduced is bold, and it pays off. It's honest, and carefully crafted, a piece of music which whispers louder than most shouts. Building a storyline right in front of the listeners eyes. This single reminds us that emotional struggle doesn't need volume, just intention.

It is not just a song - it's a statement. Although Parabøla are still in the early stages of their journey, with music like this they’re speaking with the maturity and heart of artists far beyond their years. If this is only the start, you can only imagine where they're going next.
