The Royston Club have just released their newest single "Shivers", out on every music streaming platform available. This is the first piece of new music TRC have shared this year - it follows "The Patch Where Nothing Grows", released 2024. This single along with the last show a distinct shift in sound and quality. "Shivers" is a very impressive single, from the roaring vocals of Tom Faithfull and Ben Matthais, to the captivating Drum and Bass, performed by Sam Jones and Dave Tute.

This single confirms TRC's new era, leaving fans eagerly awaiting tour announcements and updates on a possible album. I saw TRC at Reading and Leeds festival on a tiny stage in 2023 and was blown away. Previously, I had only heard their demo "Shawshank", and I had fallen in love instantly. The band held the attention of the fairly large from start to finish and almost every person knew every lyric there. Royston are back at Reading this year, and I am hoping to see a sizable stage upgrade. Watching this band grow has been incredible, and I am very proud to have been a fan for so long. You can find the band on all social medias, and every streaming platform.

Cheers, Grace x
